What is the size of the universe? Where does it begin? Where
does it end? What exists after the universe’s end?
What if this universe was the brain of God? And our sun was
one of the many billion nuclei in it? They say our earth was formed after the collision
of two stars. What if there was a collision between two atoms in the brain of
God and earth revolves around the sun like an electron around the nucleus? If this
is so, we will never be able to see the face of God because we are right inside
that extra-terrestrial being called God. Universe is full of possibilities and very
mysterious. It’s nearly impossible to guess how huge the universe is. And considering
its size, we humans are a negligible ‘nobody’.
We are not even a small fraction of a particle of the universe. The
realization of being so tiny and minute only makes us feel ‘invisible’. Or are
we just a part of someone’s imagination or visualization? After all, don’t we
say, ‘’It’s all in the head”?
Another theory given forth to prove our non-existence is by
using Cartesian plane. We take the negative x-axis as ‘past’ and positive
x-axis as ’future’ and y-axis as a measure of ‘present.’ Any event which happened
even a fraction of second ago is past (eg. -0.01 on x-axis), and which will
happen a fraction of second later is future (eg. +0.01 on x-axis). Hence the
point of origin (0) is the present. But what is that point? Zero? It is neither in past, nor in future and
measures nothing in present either. So is present simply an illusion? Are we
simply an illusion in someone’s imagination?
Some Holy books say the universe was created in 6 days. God
created light (day) and darkness (night) on Day 1; sky on Day 2; land, seas and
vegetation on Day 3; the sun, moon and stars on Day 4; aquatic and aerial being
on Day 5 and finally animals, man (Adam) and woman (Eve) on Day 6. And finally
on the 7th Day, God rested, probably admiring his work.
Science gave the Big Bang Theory. But who can validate it? Are
formulae on paper enough to prove such things right or wrong? We can never be
certain of even the Big Bang Theory as we are about Sheldon Cooper’s
giftedness.
Finest brains keep guessing how the universe started. How it
works and how huge it is. They will keep guessing forever. Exercising those
neurons is good. But why do we desperately try to prove our findings true when
we all know these mysteries will never be solved. Why don’t we just sit back
and appreciate the puzzles instead of limiting them to numbers and symbols?
mindblowing..!!!
